“Pazzo (crazy in Italian) marries the best features of several varietals to create a unique and sophisticated blend. This vintage features Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Merlot, Sagrantino and about 10% each Sangiovese and Malbec. With great care and expertise, we combine these selected lots to create an unconventional but delectable wine.”

“Upon first tasting the wine you are rewarded with loads of rich red and black fruits with a full bodied but not overpowering mouthfeel. Mild in tannins and with moderate acidity, this wine will pair nicely with a wide variety of food and is enjoyable now and over the next 5-7 years.”
“It’s roughly 25% Napa, 75% Sonoma County fruit, the Napa 25% being completely cab from my folks estate up on Dutch Henry Canyon Road. The Merlot is Sonoma Valley AVA, The Petite Sirah and remaing cab was Alexander Valley and the Sangiovese and Sagrantino were Russian River Valley sites.”
