TASTING NOTES
At first glance this wine displays deep ruby hues followed by the familiar aromas of rose petals, vanilla, cherry and almond. Hints of cola and white pepper leave you longing for a taste. This wine provides the depth of fruit and balance experienced from previous vintages. These flavors linger on the palate which only extends the pleasure of each sip.
VINEYARD NOTES
The 2018 vintage offers yet again, a perfect glimpse into what beautiful wines Bacigalupi Vineyard can produce. As with previous years, we were able to bin ferment without the addition of commercial yeasts, allowing the wine to truly express its sense of place.
FOOD PAIRING NOTES
This wine can certainly stand alone, but it also pairs wonderfully with a variety of dishes that bring us comfort. Savor it alongside a Farro salad with dried fruits, walnuts, parsley and an aged Fig Balsamic and Olive Oil. For something a bit more savory, pair it with a goat cheese tart. If you are looking for the ultimate dessert pairing, we suggest none other than, a S’more!
