Our Destin Vineyard Estate Syrah flourished, as did many vineyards in 2018, and we were quite blessed with a bountiful and beautiful crop. This dynamic wine is the perfect combination of old and new world. The result being a nose that is aromatically bold and a complex palate rich in flavors and texture. The journey starts with an eye catching deep ruby color. Allow the wine a bit of time to express itself and a powerful bouquet unfolds of blackberries, toffee, spice and white pepper overflow the glass, followed by hints of bacon fat, tobacco, and graphite. The mouthfeel is full but soft with Cola and black licorice, complemented by black, ripe fruit.
