History
Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé was first released in 1968. Thanks to its consistently high quality and memorable bottle, Cuvée Rosé has become the most recognized rosé Champagne worldwide and is the benchmark of its category.
The Blend
100% Pinot Noir from 10 different crus situated mainly in Montagne de Reims, including the grand crus of Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours-sur-Marne.
Vinification and aging
Cuvée Rosé is made in a winery dedicated solely to its production. Grapes from carefully selected plots arrive at the winery and are meticulously sorted and
destemmed before going into vats. Our proprietary maceration process is used which allows for skin contact typically for 48 to 72 hours. During that time, the
wine obtains its color and develops the full aromatic richness of Pinot Noir. After the base wines are blended and bottled, Cuvée Rosé ages in the cellars
for at least five years (six years for magnums). At disgorging, it receives a light dosage of 9 grams of sugar per liter, classifying it as a

Outer quote mark Elegant and fruity at the same time with a quick invitation from bright, pure cherryish notes and then filled out handsomely by whiffs of chalky soils and well-integrated, rich and uplifting yeast-driven scents, this wine manages to be both vigorous and layered at one and the same time. Its bubbles are insistent, finely carved and add to the early sensations of lightness and energy yet also carry the wine long into a balanced, refined finish. And its latter palate grip is exactly what one should expect from the genre. Outer quote mark The latest iteration of Laurent-Perrier’s NV Brut Cuvée Rosé is showing brilliantly, bursting from the glass with notes of smoky red berry fruit, apples, blood orange, pomegranate and warm biscuits. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, broad and vinous, with a delicate mousse, good depth at the core and ripe acids, concluding with a sapid, gently phenolic finish.
