The name, Le Mistral, comes from the name for the winds of the Rhône Valley in France, where blustery afternoons cool vineyards quickly and produce similar flavors in their native varietals like Syrah and Grenache. We are proud to farm the Le Mistral Vineyard in a sustainable way. This combines the best management practices from other farming systems, like organic and biodynamic, to positively impact the bottom line, environment, and society. This Grenache is a gorgeous ruby color in the glass and is aromatic with bright, rich notes of cherry and chocolate followed by softer notes of cedar, vanilla, cassis. Lively acidity and tannin round out the palate for a deliciously balanced and lingering finish. With juicy red fruit qualities and a full bodied texture, this wine is a bolder than a Pinot and more delicate than a Cabernet; perfect for any occasion.
