From The Winery
Beautiful Earth is our flagship Paso Robles blend, and it represents the best lots from our favorite Westside vineyards.
The components of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre were fermented in small open top bins, concrete and stainless steel tanks with 10% new oak. The wine spent 20-35 days on the skins with a combination of pump-over and punch downs. Aged 18 months in a combination of 228, 265 and 500-liter neutral French oak barrels.

“A composition of 48% Syrah, 16% Grenache, 14% Mourvèdre, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petite Verdot, 4% Petite Sirah and 2% Zinfandel, the 2020 Beautiful Earth Red has a deep ruby-purple color, and the nose is bursting with boysenberries, black cherries, iron and Earl Grey tea leaves, plus slowly opening accents of charcuterie and peppercorn. The medium-bodied palate offers concentrated, broody fruit, grainy tannins, plenty of refreshing acidity and a long, layered finish. 1,474 cases were made. Drink: 2023-2028.”
94 Points ‘Highly Recommended, #16 Wine of the Year’ Wine Spectator
“Supple, rich and plump with personality, this red offers an array of black raspberry, smoked meat, cracked pepper and black olive flavors that race toward the zesty finish. Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah and Zinfandel. Drink now through 2030.”

“Elderberry, black plum and floral hints of violet float across a seared-beef note on the nose of this blend of 48% Syrah, 16% Grenache, 14% Mourvèdre, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot, 4% Petite Sirah and 2% Zinfandel. The palate is viscous and loaded with comforting flavors of black fruit and peppery spices, with just enough acidity to liven each sip.”
