Vineyard Notes

Lincoln Creek is a family-owned and certified organic vineyard found in the Oakville appellation of Napa Valley. The vineyard contains an 18-acre block of Zinfandel near the base of Yountville Hills. This 2003 planting is quadrilateral cordon-trained and spur-pruned. The canopy is meticulously managed throughout the season to maximize air circulation and sunlight interception to enhance fruit ripening and reduce disease pressure.

Tasting Notes

The touch of one of our winemakers Lynn Watanabe can be admired in this unique Zinfandel style. Away from the classic Napa Zinfandel style, this deep ruby color wine has aromas of ripe strawberry, cherry, pomegranate, hibiscus flower, coffee, and white pepper. On the palate, you will find the same expressive fruit flavors accompanied with soft ripe tannins that leads to a clean, sharp, spicy finish.
