The classic Ruby’s “Older Brother”, our Finest Reserve has more complexity and softer tannins. Old-vineyard domaine grapes from 3 of the higher-quality, non-vintage harvests aged an average 5 years in neutral French oak 500 liter/132 gallon puncheons and 7000 liter/1850 gallon tanks.
The classic Ruby’s “Older Brother”, the Quinta do Tedo’s Finest Reserve has more complexity and softer tannins. A gorgeous ruby color with orange highlights. Aromas of dried fruit, dried fig, orange marmalade, notes of black cherry, raspberry, dry tobacco leaves and vanilla. A generous, plush mouthfeel, dense with good structure and a long and persistent finish. Enjoy with warm grilled figs on blue cheese toasts, poached figs with reduced sauce and vanilla ice cream, chocolate cake, mocha/chocolate mousse, chocolate-covered orange peels, and a variety of cheeses.
