From the Winery
The grapes are sourced primarily from three Santa Barbara regions on the vanguard: Santa Ynez Valley, Sta. Rita Hills and Santa Maria Valley.
The Paring Red and Paring Sauvignon Blanc wines explore different blending opportunities where experimentations with site and varieties are key; select vineyards are defined and farmed to our rigorous standards, wine lots are blended and aged together to reach balance and enjoyment. The Paring wines are for pleasure and meant to be at home anywhere, pairing beautifully with casual BBQs as well as feasts that pull out all the stops. They make every effort to strike a balance between volume, and texture, both direct results of the beautiful Santa Barbara sun and cool oceanic winds.
Winemaker’s Notes
A constant play between sweet and savory. Gentle and dusty tannins lead the way into an incredibly long and precise finish. Mulberry sweetness and a wonderful tension between tannic structure and bright acidity. Balanced and refined, a study in elegance.

“The 2018 Red Wine checks in as 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot. It’s a medium to full-bodied, ripe, rounded, nicely concentrated blend with lots of ripe currant and blackberry fruits as well as an herbal kick in its tobacco, earth, and ripe herb aromas and flavors. It’s ideal for drinking over the coming 5-7 years or more.”

“The 2018 Red is a joyous, vibrant red. Succulent dark cherry, leather, chocolate, tobacco, spice and cedar complement a core of super-ripe dark berry fruit. Bold and exuberant to the core, the Red has so much to offer. Pretty earthy and savory notes lend tons of aromatic nuance. Best of all, the 2018 is an insane value.”
