To purchase wine, you must be at least 21 years of age. An adult signature is required upon delivery.
Besides the big three shipping companies in our area, by utilizing local shipping companies such as Buffalo Shipping, Cartons & Crates, and a few others, we can ship to the following states: AK, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NV, NY, OR, SC, VA, VT, WA (#400409), and WI. Other shipping and volume restrictions may apply. Shipments made within certain states may be subject to state sales tax. This information is not intended to solicit orders where such solicitation and/or orders are prohibited by law.
During warm weather shipping months, wine delivery may be delayed by a few days to a week or more to ensure safe delivery. We also have arranged special delivery options via Wine Train. During warm weather months, we announce state and shipping schedule in a temperature controlled wine train (55°F). During warm weather months, please inquire about us storing your wine until weather permits shipment.
The Member/customer is solely responsible for importation of their wine into the jurisdiction of their shipping address and promises and agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Cellar Collections harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, and expenses (including taxes, interest, penalties, and attorney fees and amounts paid in investigation, defending or settling any of the foregoing) arising out of or in connection with: (a) any act by or omission of Member, their agents or employees, or allegations made upon such acts or omissions, relating to or affecting the wine sold to and shipped on behalf of the Member by Cellar Collections in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; (b) any inaccuracy of any representation made by Member in connection with the transactions contemplated by these Terms and Conditions; (c) any claims brought or asserted by any third party against Member for any wine sold by Cellar Collections to the Member and shipped in accordance with the Member's instructions and per these Terms and Conditions.
We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes. An adult, 21 years or older, must be present to sign for each shipment; our shipping partners do require proper identification. This person may be an adult besides yourself, but they must be 21 or older with an acceptable form of ID present at time of delivery. Our shipping partners will not deliver to adults who are visibly intoxicated at the time of delivery in accordance with Federal law. To avoid unnecessary delays and complications during transit and delivery, we suggest that you use your business address, or make arrangements for an adult to be present at the delivery location.
Due to various state laws, some retailers are restricted from shipping wine directly to some states. With state laws ever-changing, we recommend checking back frequently to check with us for states shipping status. We currently do not ship outside of the U.S., to U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico, or to Military and A.P.O. addresses. Shipping fees are calculated based on the weight and number of bottles purchased at one time to one address. We ship in 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, and 15 bottles/pack. We suggest shipping in 15 bottles/pack because it offers you the best value. We may offer additional shipping promotions so make sure to check our website regularly. There may be a state handling fee added to the order for delivery to certain states. This is imposed by the carrier.
We work diligently on inventory daily to ensure that all orders are fulfilled. However, there may be an unforeseen circumstance that may involve inventory through distribution or human error. In which case, we can substitute for another wine OR payment will be refunded to you and you will be notified immediately of the out of stock item.
Following wine-trade traditions, all bottles seven years or older are purchased at the buyer's risk.
Local Pick Up:
For Napa Valley and Bay Area Locals (and visitors), Cellar Collections gladly welcomes walk-ins! This allows customers to browse our wine shop and purchase wine [for a new order] or pick-up wine previously purchased. Pick-up hours are the same as business hours or feel free to give us a call for special arrangements.
At Cellar Collections, we believe locals should also have a convenient and affordable way to purchase wine. For Napa Valley Locals within 15 miles from Cellar Collections, we will gladly arrange a time for delivery (2 case minimum). Also, check our website and social media pages regularly for dates we are delivering to your local area (City of Napa, Yountville, Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena, Calistoga, etc.).
Your satisfaction is very important to us. We are committed to delivering your product in excellent condition and in a timely manner. If you are dissatisfied in any way with your purchase, please contact us (link) as we would like the opportunity to correct the situation.
Damaged Wine in Shipment?
Contact us immediately to notify us of the damage done to your shipment. With some carriers you have only a day or two to report damaged goods otherwise it's too late to file a claim~ in other words, check your shipment immediately upon arrival!!! We will contact the shipping provider and pursue all necessary measures. Replacement or credit to your account will be issued upon return of damaged goods.
You have 30 days from purchase date to return wine for exchange or credit, less the actual shipping and handling charges, and return shipping and handling charges. Wine must be returned undamaged for exchange or credit.
You have 1 year from purchase date to notify us of the corked bottle. Simply contact us (link) and we will discuss further options. Please return wine still in bottle and corked (no pun intended). Cellar Collections and winery inspection is necessary for replacement or credit.
Due to wine’s fragility, we cannot accept any returns on wines that have been mishandled. All wine shipment received must be treated with the appropriate conditions and wine temperature.
