The 2019 Pinot Noir is rich and forward. It has an expressive nose and generous pallet of classic dark red fruits, cherry pie, and a touch of cola. The silky texture from the polished tannins leads to an expansive mid palate and a lingering bright finish.
Montagu Wines is a tribute to my great grandfather John, the second Lord Montagu of Beaulieu and a British automotive pioneer. His son Edward, the third Lord Montagu, continued his father’s legacy by founding Britain’s National Motor Museum and a vineyard in Southern England. Each lead an innovative and adventurous life and it is my hope that you discover this spirit in each bottle of Montagu.
