“The Champagne presents itself with a fairly dense and luminous robe, of a light straw yellow color with yellow gold reflections with a silvery tint. It is animated by fine and lively bubbles which feed a delicate collar. The visual sensation announces a rich and fresh wine.
The first nose evokes smells of pippin apple and almond dominated by tropical fruits with orange, kumquat, peach, pineapple, passion fruit. Allowed to breathe, the Champagne reveals notes of quince, honey, candied white and yellow fruits, liquorice with clay mineral accents, smoky and humus with a hint of flint. The approach on the palate is supple and fresh with a creamy and melted effervescence. The Champagne develops a fleshy fruity substance refreshed by a fresh and integrated orange acidity. The mid-palate is orchestrated by a predominantly clay minerality that gives fullness, patina and carries the fruity greediness of the Meunier. The balanced and pulpy whole wins a fresh and tasty finish, with a slightly saline sapidity and a fruity aromatic return enhanced by a hint of mint that leaves an ultimate sensation of harmony.”
